Muscle atrophy of the orbicularis oris (mouth ring) muscle in the left corner of the mouth (blue arrows) due to facial paralysis. This 68-year-old patient complained of the constant loss of saliva and liquid food due to inadequate lip closure. After the introduction of 2 ml of autologous fat from the patient's lower abdomen, a "waterproof" lip closure is possible. Oral incontinence is eliminated. In addition, the nasolabial fold (yellow arrows) was reshaped in this patient.
